It controls the vehicle’s headlights by automatically switching them from lower beam to high beam on dark unlit roads when there is no oncoming traffic.

Always, when the system detects back fender lights of the vehicle ahead of you in the distance of up to 400 meters. The system is capable to trace the vehicle trajectory much beyond this distance.
Always, when the system detects an oncoming vehicle in the distance of up to 800 meters.
When your vehicle gets to a well-illuminated (urban) area or when the system detects street lamps.
